UN admits initial role in 6-year-long Haiti cholera epidemic

The United Nations has admitted for the first time its role in the devastating Cholera epidemic that has gripped Haiti for 6 years.

The world body conceded this week that it played a role in the initial outbreak, and called for a new set of actions to tackle the ongoing crisis that has claimed thousands of lives.
