The U.S. State Department says the American Olympic swimmers should cooperate with Brazilian law enforcement, even though there are reports, Ryan Lochte has already flown back to the U.S.
A Brazillian judge has ordered four American swimmers to remain in Rio, and their passports confiscated, after questions about their report, they were robbed at gunpoint leaving a French hospitality house in the middle of the night after the swim meet concluded.
At the U.S. State Department, deputy spokesman Mark Toner said, in general, the swimmers should cooperate.
