UK TO RENEW TRIDENT NUCLEAR WEAPONS

British MPs have voted to renew the country's Trident nuclear weapons system.

Four replacement submarines will be built at a cost of about £31bn ($40bn).

Britain's new Prime Minister Theresa May says she would be prepared to use a nuclear weapon if necessary.

Paul Ingram, Executive Director at the British American Security Information Council says MPs have made the wrong decision.
