Trump campaign denies allegations of Melania Trump's plagiarism

Donald Trump's campaign manager is denying that Mr. Trump's wife Melania plagiarized parts of her speech to the Republican Convention from a speech given by Michelle Obama in 2008.


But the campaign is acknowledging that she borrowed "fragments that reflected her own thinking".

The possible plagiarism was spotted by a Los Angeles Times reporter who compared Mrs. Trump's speech with the speech Michelle Obama made to the Democratic Party's convention 8 years ago.

But Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort told CNN Melania Trump didn't copy Michelle Obama's 2008  speech.
