PRIEST KILLED BY 'TERRORISTS' IN FRANCE

A priest has been murdered by two armed men who took hostages in a church in northern France.

84 year-old Father Jacques Hamel was taken hostage in St-Etienne du Rouvray along with four other people.

He was killed by the attackers, before they were shot dead by police.

French President Francois Hollande says the men claimed to be from the islamic state group - and ISIS has also said its 'soldiers' were behind the attack.

France correspondent David Shezan says the incident took place in a Catholic church.
