OBAMA URGES UNITY AFTER BATON ROUGE SHOOTINGS

The man named as the gunman who killed three police officers in the US town of Baton Rouge had urged a 'fight back' against police treatment of African Americans, in videos posted online.

29 year-old former Marine Gavin Long was killed himself during the attack on police on Sunday in Louisiana.

US President Barack Obama has urged unity and an end to divisive language.
