As Theresa May becomes UK Prime Minister there is mounting speculation she may call an early election.
Mrs May has ruled out going to the polls before 2020 when the next election is due.
But many analysts believe she may change her mind once she is in office.
Conservative Party historian Tim Bale from Queen Mary University of London says it may well happen soon, if not immediately.
