IMF DOWNGRADES UK GROWTH OVER BREXIT

The International Monetary Fund has slashed its UK growth forecast because of the Brexit vote but is not currently predicting a recession.

However, the IMF says the outlook could deteriorate further if the process of Britain leaving the European Union is more complicated than expected.
