HOLLANDE: MILITARY ACTION IN SYRIA AND IRAQ TO INTENSIFY

French President Francois Hollande says military action in Syria and Iraq will be intensified after the attack in Nice which has killed at least 84.

President Hollande also says a state of emergency which was due to expire on the 26th July will be extended for three months.

A lorry drove into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice in southern France before its driver was shot dead.

It's reported the attacker is a Franco-Tunisian man who may have been known to police before the incident.
