First Legal Challenge to Brexit

The first legal challenge to Brexit has been brought to the UK's High Court, arguing that only the British Parliament can trigger Article 50, not the UK Prime Minster.


Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty is the clause which starts the formal process of Britain leaving the European Union, following a referendum last month.


Judges said a full judicial review would take place in October, as our UK Correspondent Natalie Powell reports…
