BIG SAM SAYS HE CAN TURN ENGLAND AROUND

Sam Allardyce says he believes he's the man to turn the England national football team around, as he starts his new job as manager.

Allardyce left EPL side Sunderland to take over as England boss, after Roy Hodgson stood down following a dismal Euro 2016 campaign.

Giving his first press conference in his new role, Big Sam wouldn't commit to re-appointing Wayne Rooney as captain of the national side.
