Scores of people have been killed in the southern French city of Nice after an apparent terror attack on a crowd celebrating Bastille Day.
A truck drove into a crowd, and there were reports of gunshots being fired.
French TV station BFM is reporting that 60 people are dead and more than 100 people injured, and the city authorities are urging people in Nice to stay indoors.
Reporter Chris Golds is in the south of France and says the news has brought fear to people across the region.

There's been no claim of responsibility for the attack on Nice, but French counter-terrorism consultant Olivier Guetta says the country has recently joined air strikes against Islamic State targets in Iraq and Syria, and other terror groups elsewhere.
