US: The first United State of Women Summit champions gender equality

INTRO:
Tuesday marks the inaugural United State of Women summit, a gender equality conference hosted by the White House and spearheaded by US Vice President Joe Biden and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The meeting is expected to draw 50 million dollars in sponsorship for women's issues.
