UN human rights agencys says Bahrain revoking citizenship violates international law

INTRO: The United Nations has said Bahrain's decision to revoke citizenship
of Shi'ite leader Ayatollah Isa Qassim is unjustified and violates
international law.

Qassim had participated in anti-government rallies as a leading cleric
in the gulf state.
