UK CABINET AGREES 'BREXIT UNIT'

Britain's government has opened a new unit of civil servants to draft options for negotiations with the European Union after last week's Brexit vote.

Prime Minister David Cameron chaired cabinet for the first time since the EU referendum.

He's set to stand aside as PM once a successor has been chosen, leaving negotiations with the EU to the Conservative Party leader.

Cabinet member Stephen Crabb is thought to be considering a leadership bid.
