Trump calls for suspension of immigration from countries with history of terrorism

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump wants to crack down on immigration to the US following the Orlando massacre.

He's calling for a suspension of all immigration from "areas of the world that have a proven history of terrorism" against the US.

Mr Trump says he will continue to defend the right to bear arms, and fight to overhaul the FBI's ability to conduct more in-depth background checks into potential terrorists.

He said "radical Islam" is incompatible with American values.
