Shooter's father apologizes for Orlando attack

Family and friends of Omar Mateen, accused of killing nearly fifty people in Orlando over the weekend, say his actions come as a shock.

The 29 year old died in a shootout with police, as the attack came to an end.

Officials say he was inspired by the Islamic State group.

Mateen's father, Seddique Mir Mateen, is publicly apologizing for his son's actions.
