Russian athletes appeal IAAF's Olympics ban

Russian track and field athletes have filed a joint appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) objecting the ruling of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) banning them from the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Russia's Athletics Federation remains suspended from the Olympics following reports on and investigation into widespread government-sponsored doping in Russian sports.
