Queen's 90th Birthday weekend of celebrations begins

Three days of events have begun to celebrate the 90th Birthday of The Queen of the United Kingdom.

A national service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral marks the beginning of the celebrations which will continue throughout the weekend.

Among those joining the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are a number of diplomats and governors-general, who represent the Queen in Commonwealth countries around the world.
