The government of Ethiopia has confirmed that its soldiers were involved in a battle with soldiers from Eritrea.

The fight which began on Sunday morning took place in the border region of the two countries.

Coletta Wanjohi reports.

According to the Government of Ethiopia, the fight in the Tsorona border region ended on Monday.

The country's minister for communication Getachew Redda confirmed that there were casualties on both sides.
