US Warship Sails Near Disputed S China Sea Reef

China scrambled fighter jets this Tuesday after an American warship sailed close to a disputed reef in the South China Sea.

Beijing denounced the patrol as an illegal threat to peace, but the US has called the manoeuvre a 'freedom of navigation' operation.
