President Obama's diplomatic visit to Japan sullied after PM Abe criticizes US

INTRO:
And in Tokyo, US President Barack Obama promised to help Japanese
authorities seek justice in the alleged murder of a Japanese woman by
a US marine.

The president was speaking in a joint conference with Japanese Prime
Minister Shinzo Abe, who slammed the US over the incident.
