Obama Raises Human Rights, Maritime Disputes in Vietnam Speech

US President Barack Obama has spoken of the need to uphold human rights and resolve maritime disputes peacefully, during remarks to the Vietnamese people in the capital Hanoi.

He was speaking the day after lifting a US embargo on arms sales to Vietnam, which has led to a warning from China about not stoking regional tensions.
