NIGERIA 'WON'T DEMAND CAMERON CORRUPTION APOLOGY'

Nigeria's President says he won't be demanding an apology after Britain's Prime Minister was overheard telling the Queen that Nigeria is 'fantastically corrupt'.

Muhammadu Buhari instead says he will be asking for further British assistance in the fight against corruption.

British Prime Minister David Cameron was caught on camera making the comments to Queen Elizabeth ahead of a summit in London on Thursday on corruption.

In the House of Commons Mr Cameron responded to a question from a lawmaker on British overseas territories which are used as tax havens - with a reference to his own diplomatic gaffe.
