US Secretary Kerry makes unscheduled visit to Iraq as show of support

US Secretary of State, John Kerry, has paid an unscheduled visit to
the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, amid political and economic upheaval in
the country.

The top US diplomat said Washington is intent on helping Iraq to
defeat the self-proclaimed Islamic State.
