UN Human Rights Boss Urges Thailand to Curb Military’s Power

A top human rights official from the United Nations has called on Thailand to suspend what he called the military's 'dangerously sweeping' powers.

In his statement, Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein also encouraged dialogue on a new draft constitution.
