TATA AGREES DEAL FOR SOME UK STEEL OPERATIONS

Indian steel giant Tata has announced a deal to sell one of its European businesses, safeguarding over 4000 jobs in the UK.

It comes amid calls for the British government to do more to preserve the country's steel industry with Tata exiting the UK amid a global supply glut.
