Remains of "extraordinarily well-preserved" Roman villa found accidentally in Britain

Remains of one of the largest Roman villas ever unearthed in Britain have been accidentally discovered in the southern county of Wiltshire.

Workmen were laying an electricity cable underneath a back garden when they dug up some pieces of mosaic.

Archeologists now say the find is among the most significant ever made in the UK, and they call the 1800-year old site extraordinarily well preserved.

Luke Irwin is the owner of the house where the remains were discovered, and says at first local authorities didn't believe it.
