QUEEN'S 90TH CELEBRATIONS BEGIN

Celebrations are starting in the UK on the eve of the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

She turns 90 on Thursday but events will actually go on until mid-June, when there will be street parties across Britain.

The Queen is Britain's longest-serving monarch and a new poll shows two-thirds of Britons believe the monarchy has an important part to play in the country's future.

Adam Evans is in Windsor - the focus of much of this week's celebrations.
