Pentagon: Up To $800m of ISIS Cash Destroyed, Recruitment Falling

A US military spokesman has said that US airstrikes have destroyed up to 800 million dollars in cash held by the so-called Islamic State group.

Major General Peter Gersten told reporters the resulting damage to the organisation’s finances has led to a drop in recruitment and a spike in defections.
