US President Barack Obama has tried to reassure the Gulf nations of
America's continuing interest in the region amid mistrust and fraught
relations.
The countries were meeting in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh, following
a frosty reception for Obama from the kingdom's ruler King Salman.
