Freedom of speech questions over German comedian


Questions over freedom of expression in Germany are being raised after a well known comedian is being investigated by authorities after reading an obscene poem about Turkey's President on a late-night television show.


Turkey made a formal request to Germany to prosecute Jan Boehmermann over the incident.


Our Correspondent in Berlin, Natalie Powell explains the comedian knew what he was doing was illegal.
