The European Union could pass a bill to approve the setting up of a database of records of all flight passengers traveling in and out of the EU to try to trace suspected terrorists.
Members of the European Parliament are voting on a proposal known as PNR, which has been defeated twice in the past over concerns about privacy and data protection.
