EU to Assess Deal with Turkey

One month after the European Union and Turkey hammered out a deal aimed at slowing the flow of migrants to Europe, the European Commission will take stock of how the program is doing.

The EU-Turkey deal remains controversial—with many refugee rights advocates saying it strips asylum seekers of their rights.
