Criminal investigation launched in UK after "drone" strikes British Airways jet

A criminal investigation has been launched in Britain after a suspected drone hit a commercial airliner that was on its descent into London's Heathrow Airport.


The British Airways Airbus 320 was landing at the end of a flight from Geneva when an object struck the front of the plane.


Licensed commercial drone pilot Alan Jacks says there are clear rules about drones operating near 

Britain's airports.
