CAMERON ATTEMPTS TO DEFUSE TAX SCANDAL

UK Prime Minister David Cameron is bringing forward plans to crack down on tax evasion, following the Panama Papers scandal.

Mr Cameron published his own tax returns at the weekend after it emerged he had held investments in an offshore fund.

The opposition Labour Party says the Prime Minister still has questions to answer over his tax affairs.

Political reporter Theo Usherwood says the Panama Papers leaks have already led to unprecedented effects in UK politics.
