UN: US Republican candidates' endorsement of waterboarding "dangerous" and "illegal"

The UN investigator on torture expressed concern after calls for
waterboarding have surfaced during the US presidential race. Both
Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and closest rival Ted Cruz voiced
plans to bring back the practice to interrogate detainees.
