Obama says trade embargo against Cuba will outlast his Presidency

President Obama says that he does not think the US trade embargo in place against Cuba will be lifted before he leaves the White House next January.

He also said he believes further change in Cuba is going to happen, despite the fact that the island is what he called a "one party state that stifles dissent".

He was speaking shortly before talks that he'll hold today in Havana with Cuban President Raul Castro.

Our US Correspondent Simon Marks is there.
