The Starwood Hotels and Resorts firm says it's agreed to a merger deal with Marriott International, in preference to last week's bid from a group led by China's Anbang Insurance.
Starwood shareholders will receive 21 dollars in cash and 0.8 Marriott shares for each one of their Starwood shares.
