France and US accuse Syrian government of trying to derail peace talks

France and the United States have accused the Syrian government of
attempting to derail peace talks slated to start on Monday.

The negotiations set to take place in Geneva coincide with the fifth
anniversary of Syria's civil war. A conflict that's killed over
250,000 people.
