US reiterates diplomacy for South China Sea

The Obama administration is again prioritizing diplomacy over militarization of the South China Sea.

According to reports, China has placed surface-to-air missiles on Woody Island in the Paracels.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest says the U.S. and it's ASEAN allies want any disputes in the region to be settled with diplomacy.
