Polish President tries to mend ties with EU

Polish president Andrej Duda visits Brussels on Monday- just a few
days after the European Commission launched an unprecedented inquiry
into the rule of law in his country.
The Commission is concerned recent reforms to the judiciary and media
law have damaged Poland's democracy.
