More armed police to patrol London

More armed police officers are to be trained to patrol the British capital following the multiple attacks in Paris last year by  Islamic State gunmen.

The head of the Metropolitan Police, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, said he had taken the decision as the UK is likely to face what he called a spontaneous attack that would require a fast response.

From London, Catherine Drew reports.
