Litvinenko testified against Russian security services months before his murder

The "Open Russia" Foundation, launched by Vladimir Putin's long-time rival former tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovksy published a testimony given by Alexander Litvinenko to Israeli investigators in April 2006. The former FSB agent claimed the Federal Security Service, or FSB, was behind the 1998 murder of a mayor of a Siberian town of Nefteyugansk. On Thursday a British public probe into Mr. Litvinenko's death revealed two Russian nationals were guilty of his poisoning and that Russian President Vladimir Putin "probably" sanctioned the assassination.
