Denmark passes bill to confiscate assets from asylum seekers

The parliament in Denmark has passed a law which allows authorities to seize valuable assets to pay for their stay.

The bill was passed with a overwhelming majority.

Denmark is expected to receive 20 thousand asylum requests this year.
