Amnesty International Says Consumer Tech Uses Cobalt Mined by Children

Amnesty International has issued a report accusing some of the world’s biggest manufacturers of consumer technology of using cobalt mined by children. 

Cobalt is a vital component of lithium-ion batteries used in phones, laptops and electric vehicles.
