UN Secretary General hopeful to meet the world's challenges in 2016

As the United Nations completes its 70th year, Secretary General is
calling for further momentum on the world's challenges.

He said diplomatic efforts at the UN came through with historic agreements
such as the Iran resolution, but also failed to meet the challenges
that arose with the refugee crisis.

Approaching his final year in office as the Secretary General, Ban Ki
Moon told reporters at UN headquarters that he is both hopeful and
committed to carrying out diplomatic action into 2016.
