EUROPEAN SHARES FOLLOW ASIAN STOCKS HIGHER AFTER US RATE RISE

Asian and European stock markets have bounced after the US Federal Reserve raised interest rates.

It was the first rate rise in the US since 2006, but came with a positive health check for the American economy.
