Angela Merkel named TIME Person of Year

TIME magazine has named German Chancellor Angela Merkel as its 2015
Person of the Year.

Second place went to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, with US
Presidential hopeful Donald Trump in third.

Speaking on NBC the editor of the magazine Nancy Gibbs explained why
Merkel was the chosen.
