Major security operation underway in Brussels

A major security operation is taking place in the Belgian capital Brussels, after the country's Prime Minister said there was a "serious and imminent" threat of an attack on the city.

He's extended a terror alert, and guests in several hotels in the center of Brussels have been warned to remain inside.

Several streets were blocked off as a series of raids were reported to have begun.
